Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to about 100 mammal species, and around 606 bird
species, including antelopes, crocodiles, hippos, elephants, and buffaloes, among others. This is
the second most frequented park after Murchison and it is famous for its boat cruise along the
Kazinga channel which joins Lake Geroge to Lake Edward. The park is also home to the tree
climbing lions that are found in the Ishasha Sector, Chimpanzees in Kyambura Gorge, and
monkeys in the Maramagambo forest.
